Paradise for cinema lovers in Delhi

Cinema lovers had a treat recently as audience of Delhi saw acclaimed filmmaker Keshav Raina’s two films getting screened at the BRICS Film Festival 2016. The festival organized from 19-26th February jointly with the Russian Centre of Science and Culture saw considerable number of people gathering to see Keshav’s short films. Many veterans present at the event said that films like these are the need of the hour and these issues need immediate redressal.


Some details of the films screened at the festival

‘Eve on the Brew’ is a short film based on eve teasing where a young girl is molested by three drunken youngsters and her struggle to escape.

‘Dard ka Ehsaas’ is a short film based on Racial Discrimination. This film is shot in memory of Late Nido Tania who fell victim to racial discrimination in Delhi. This film showcases 2 youngsters getting harassed by a group of boys and how a good guy saves them.

Also speaking at the event about his films keshav said “These short films have been inspired by an ever growing crime against women and discrimination. These short films are meant to be an eye opener for people of the world and hope people will support me in my current and future initiatives.”
