Interfaith Leader Met Gujarat CM and discuss important issues

An Interfaith delegation today met CM Gujarat Vijay Rupani to discuss the peace and harmony initiatives. The delegation is led by Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti Founder Acharya Dr Lokesh Muni. All faith leaders express their views on the growing problems of violence all over the world. Swami Narayan Gurukul Spiritual Head Swami Madhavpriyadasji, All India Cheif Imam Umer Ahmad Ilyasi and Mahabodhi Foundation Head Buddhist Bhikku Sanghasena was part of the august delegation.


Acharya Lokesh Muni has reiterated that peace has a big role in development model of any state. He said to the CM that PM Modi has also acknowledged the Interfaith initiatives and met all faith leaders and show his willingness to engage them for his many noble missions. Acharya Lokesh Muni has also invited CM to attend the Jain Religion largest convention in USA in 2017, CM promised him to attend this large gathering of Jain Religion.

Cheif Imam of India Imam Umer Ahmad Ilyasi has discussed the condition of Muslims in Gujarat with the CM. He said we must forget past and develop our future with trust and harmony. CM assure him that Muslims are happy in the state and if goes by number, Gujarat Muslims count are highest in Haj Pilgrimages.

Buddhist leader Bhikku Sanghasena has discuss several ongoing Buddhist projects with the CM and he promise him to cooperate.

Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti has organised an interfaith programme on 16th October in Ahmedabad. Governor of Gujarat Hon OP Kohli and Cabinet minister Purushottam Rupala will attend the programme with faith leaders.
