SGPGI defying Medical Ethics Code, but why?

Amitabh Thakur : Aliganj resident Suresh Chandra Shukla’s wife Mamata Shukla, suffering from Hepatitis-C died while being treated at SGPGI, Lucknow. He alleged Dr Vivek Anand Saraswat and Dr Srijeeth Venugopal of Gastroenterology department as being responsible for this, registering a case against them in PGI police station.

As per the FIR, these doctors used the trial drug Thymocin Alpha-1 injection despite fully knowing that it has bone cancer as its side-effect and Central Drug Standard Control Organization has given its permission only for Hepatitis B patients.

Today, Honorable Supreme Court of India has ordered against the Supertech group in the case of the Emerald Court Project. Supertech will have to return buyers money in 4 days. Honorable Allahabad High Court already ordered to demolition of two 40-storey towers of the Emerald Court Project of the Supertech Group in Sector 93 A, Noida. The court also directed Supertech to return the money to the investors at an interest rate of 14 per cent.

In the notice SHO Gomtinagar has said that his house was checked on 26 July and it was found that he leaves his house unattended after locking his door which is resulting in thefts taking place in large numbers after breaking locks.
