कटिहार प्रशासन का तानाशाह रवैया एक बार फिर देखने को मिला है। एक खबर लिखने पर एक पत्रकार पर मुक़दमा दर्ज कराया है। खबर को भ्रामक बताते हुए ये मुक़दमा कटिहार जिला प्रशासन द्वारा दर्ज कराया गया है। कटिहार के बारसोई SDO फिरोज अख्तर के अनुशंसा पर ये मुक़दमा दर्ज हुआ है।

अम्बेडकर पर संसद में चर्चा... विचार दरकिनार, सिर्फ गुणगान!

भारतीय संसद ने संविधान निर्माण में अम्बेडकर के योगदान पर दो दिन तक काफी सार्थक चर्चा करके एक कृतज्ञ राष्ट्र होने का दायित्व निभाया है .इस चर्चा ने कुछ प्रश्नों के जवाब दिये है तो कुछ नए प्रश्न खड़े भी किये है ,जिन पर आगे विमर्श जारी रहेगा .दो दिन तक सर्वोच्च सदन का चर्चा करना अपने आप में ऐतिहासिक माना जायेगा .यह इसलिये भी महत्वपूर्ण हो गया कि जो पार्टियाँ गाहे बगाहे अब तक डॉ अम्बेडकर के संविधान निर्माता होने पर संदेह प्रकट करती रही , आलोचना करती रही  ,उनके भी सुर बदले है तथा उन्होंने भी माना कि संविधान निर्माण में डॉ अम्बेडकर का योगदान अतुलनीय है ,उसको नकारा नहीं जा सकता है .

राजस्थान सरकार का दलितों को तोहफा, अम्बेडकर लॉ यूनिवर्सिटी बंद करने का फैसला!

एक तरफ केंद्र की भाजपा सरकार संविधान निर्माता बाबा साहब अम्बेडकर की 125 वी जयंती का समारोह मना रही है ,वहीँ दूसरी तरफ राजस्थान की वसुंधराराजे सरकार ने अम्बेडकर के नाम पर स्थापित विधि विश्वविध्यालय को बंद करने का निर्णय ले लिया है .लोग पूछ रहे है कि क्या यह सरकार के दो साल पूरे होने पर राज्य सरकार द्वारा दलितों को दिया गया तोहफा है ?

राज्य के चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य मंत्री राजेन्द्रसिंह राठौड़ ने विगत दिनों हुई मंत्रीमंडल की बैठक के बाद खबरनवीसों को बताया था कि राज्य सरकार ने डॉ भीमराव अम्बेडकर लॉ यूनिवर्सिटी को बंद करके इसके स्थान पर जयपुर में ‘अम्बेडकर पीठ - सेंटर फॉर एक्सीलेंस’ का गठन करने का निर्णय लिया है .राठौड़ ने इस फैसले का औचित्य बताते हुए कहा कि वर्ष 2012 -13 में अशोक गहलोत के शासन काल में अम्बेडकर लॉ यूनिवर्सिटी स्थापित की थी, मगर पूर्ववर्ती सरकार ने किसी भी प्रकार की वित्तीय व्यवस्था नहीं की ,ना शैक्षणिक अनुभाग खोले ,ना फैकल्टी नियुक्त की ,ना भूमि आवंटित की गई और ना ही प्रवेश सम्बन्धी कार्यवाही की गयी . सिर्फ कागजों में ही विश्वविध्यालय खोल दिया गया और कुलपति की भी नियुक्ति कर दी गई .इसलिये इस कागजी विश्वविध्यालय को बंद करके अम्बेडकर पीठ स्थापित करने का राज्य मंत्रिमंडल ने निर्णय लिया है .

कमला गोइन्का फाउण्डेशन एवं हिन्दी विद्यापीठ (केरल) के संयुक्त-तत्वावधान में आयोजित समारोह में वरिष्ठ अहिन्दी भाषी साहित्यकारों के सम्मानार्थ घोषित "बालकृष्ण गोइन्का हिन्दी साहित्य सम्मान" से तिरुवनन्तपुरम् (केरल) के वरिष्ठ साहित्यकार डॉ. एन. चन्द्रशेखरन नायर जी को विभूषित किया गया एवं केरल के सिरमौर फिल्म अभिनेता, हिन्दी-प्रेमी पद्मश्री मधु (माधवन नायर) जी को भी "दक्षिण ध्वजधारी सम्मान" से नवाजा गया।

NNIS न्यूज एजेंसी ने अपने कर्मचारियों की तोड़ी कमर

स्पोर्टस न्यूज पर अपनी तास ठोकने वाली एनएऩआईएस न्यूज एजेंसी ने अपने कर्मचारियों को नाखून खाने के पर मजबूर कर दिया है... एनएनआईएस ने पिछले चार महीनों से अपने कर्मचारियों को वेतन नहीं दिया है... इसके साथ हद तो तब हुई जब दुनिया के तमाम व्यापारियों ने अपने कर्मचारियों को दिवाली पर तोहफा दिया मगर जब दिवाली पर कर्मचारियों ने खुद से ऑफिस में दिवाली पार्टी रखी तो एनएनआईएस के बॉस ने महज दो हजार रूपए देकर उसका हिसाब मांगा... एक तो वेतन नहीं दिया, उपर से दिवाली की शुभकामनाएं नहीं दी, और तो और दो हजार रूपए का हिसाब भी मांगा... जैसे पता नहीं कितना बड़ा ऐहसान कर दिया हो...

सहारा के 25 साल : हाल बेहाल

किसी और सभ्यता_संस्कृति के विषय में तो मालूम नहीं लेकिन भारतीय संस्कृति में २५ साल का बहुत महत्व होता है। तीज त्योहार के शौकीन हम भारतीय यूं भी कोई अवसर नहीं खोना चाहते । बात हम भारतीयता की भावना से ओत प्रोत होने का दंभ भरने वाले सहारा इंडिया परिवार के नियंत्रण वाले राष्ट्रीय सहारा की कर रहे। हैं। यह अखबार इस साल अपने प्रकाशन (१९९१) का २५वां वर्ष (देखे हर पृष्ठ पर २५ वर्ष वाला लोगों) मना रहा है।

अखिलेश के दावों के विपरीत है यूपी का सियासी इतिहास, यूपी है बदलाव पसंद, अच्छा लगता है सत्ता परिवर्तन

उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव भी धीरे-धीरे सियासी होते जा रहे है।कभी वह यूपी में महागठबंधन का शिगूफा छोड़ देते हैं तो कभी किसी कार्यक्रम के दौरान कांगे्रस के युवराज और पीएम बनने का सपना पाले राहुल गांधी की मौजूदगी में ही कांगे्रस के सामने प्रस्ताव रख देते हैं कि 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव में अगर मुलायम को पीएम बनाने और राहुल गांधी को डिप्टी पीएम बनाने पर कांगे्रसी राजी हो जाते हैं तो मैं (समाजवादी पार्टी) कांग्रेस से गठबंधन के लिये अभी हां कहता हॅू।अखिलेश की बात का राहुल कोई उत्तर नहीं दे पाये।

शायद  अखिलेश को इस बात का अहसास है कि वह अपने पिता को पीएम बनने का सपना कांग्रेस के बिना पूरा नहीं कर सकते हैं, जबकि यूपी की गद्दी हासिल करने के लिये राज्य में मरणासन पड़ी कांगे्रस की उन्हें जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी। इसी लिये कांगे्रस के साथ लोकसभा चुनाव में हाथ मिलाने की बात करते समय अखिलेश 2017 के विधान सभा चुनाव में कांगे्रस से गठबंधन की बात टाल देते हैं।अखिलेश के उक्त बयान को कुछ लोग शिगूफा बता रहे हैं तो ऐसे लोगों की भी कमी नहीं है जो यह मानकर चल रहे हैं कि कांगे्रस और समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री और दिल्ली का सपना देखने वाले नीतीश कुमार के कद को छोटा करने और लालू यादव को सबक सिखाने की चाहत में सियासी हमसफर बन सकते हैं।सपा नेता भूले नहीं है कि किस तरह से लालू यादव के चलते 1999 में मुलायम सिंह यादव पीएम बनते-बनते रह गये थे।

कांग्रेस के यूपी में कमजोर पड़ने से पूरे देश में नुकसान

उत्तर प्रदेश देश का सबसे बड़ा राज्य है।करीब 21 करोड़ की आबादी वाले यूपी में वर्ष 1967 तक एक आंग्ल भारतीय सदस्य को सम्मिलित करते हुए विधान सभा की कुल सदस्य संख्या 431 थी। वर्ष 1967 के पश्चात् विधान सभा की कुल सदस्य संख्या 426 हो गई। 9 नवम्बर 2000 को उ०प्र० राज्य के पुनर्गठन एवं उत्तराखण्ड के गठन के पश्चात् विधान सभा की सदस्य संख्या 403 निर्वाचित एवं एक आंग्ल भारतीय समुदाय के मनोनीत सदस्य को सम्मिलित करते हुए कुल 404 हो गई है। विधान सभा का कार्यकाल कुल 5 वर्ष का होता है यदि वह इसके पूर्व विघटित न हो गई हो। प्रथम विधान सभा का गठन 8 मार्च 1952 को हुआ था। तब से इसका गठन सोलह बार हो चुका है। वर्तमान सोलहवीं विधान सभा का गठन 8 मार्च 2012 को हुआ। यहां विधान सभा के सदस्यों की संख्या 100 है।

2017 के लिये सपा का गीत लांच

उत्तर प्रदेश के विधानसभा चुनाव में भले ही अभी एक साल का वक्त हो, मगर समाजवादी पार्टी ने चुनावी नारों और गीतों को अंतिम रूप देना शुरू कर दिया है। मुख्य गीत के रूप में तैयार गीत ‘तरक्की का शुभारंभ, प्रगति का श्रीगणेश...अखिलेश, अखिलेश, अखिलेश’ से साफ है कि सपा अखिलेश यादव के चेहरे को आगे रखकर ‘लक्ष्य-2017’हासिल करने का प्रयास करेगी।पार्टी एक भव्य समारोह में इस गीत को लांच करेगी।यह गीत समाजवादी पार्टी में बढ़ा बदलाव होने का संकेत देते नजर आयेगा।समाजवादी पार्टी ने वर्ष 2012 का विधानसभा चुनाव मुलायम सिंह यादव के नाम पर लड़ा था।

हमारे समय में भीष्म साहनी.... आयोजन की विस्तृत रिपोर्ट

घाटशिला 14 नवम्बर, 2015. कालजयी कथाकार, नाटककार, अनुवादक, रंगमंचीय कलाकार अभिनेता भीष्म साहनी के जन्म शताब्दी वर्ष 2015 में देश भर में उन्हें याद किया जा रहा है. इसी कड़ी में घाटशिला प्रलेसं ने 14 नबम्वर को ताम्र नगरी मऊभण्डार स्थित आई.सी.सी. मजदूर यूनियन (घाटशिला) में "हमारे समय में भीष्म साहनी’ विषय पर परिचर्चा का आयोजन किया. कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत जनगीत "तू जिंदा है तो जिंदगी की जीत में यकीन कर’ (शैलेन्द्र) गाकर प्रलेसं और इप्टा के साथियों ने की. प्रथम सत्र में इसके बाद साहित्य अकादमी द्वारा निर्मित नंदन कुध्यादी निर्देशित भीष्म साहनी पर वृतचित्र का प्रदर्शन हुआ. ज्योति मल्लिक ने इस उदघाटन सत्र का संचालन किया.

द्वितीय सत्र में युवा साथियों ने गुलाब का फूल देकर मंचस्थ अतिथियों का सम्मान किया. मंच संचालन करते हुए घाटशिला के युवा कथाकार शेखर मल्ल्लिक ने भूमिका रखते हुए कहा कि, आज इस वक्त भीष्म जी को याद करने के मायने खास हैं. जिस दौर में हम आज हैं, वह एक ऐसा समय है, जिसमें भीष्म साहनी को याद किया जाना जरूरी है. प्रगतिशील और समतावादी रचनाकार भीष्म जी प्रेमचंद की परम्परा को आगे ले जाने वाले, आम आदमी को रचना में उसकी पुरी ताकत और कमजोरियों के साथ खड़ा करने वाले लेखक हैं. उनकी रचनाएँ साम्प्रदायिकता का सिर्फ़ निषेध नहीं करतीं, बल्कि उनके कारणों की तह तक जाती हैं और हमें उस नब्ज को पकड़ने के लिये उकसाती है. एक तरफ जहाँ गंगो का जाया, बसंती जैसी कहानियाँ और उपन्यास हैं, जो हमें श्रमिक निम्न मध्यवर्ग से वावस्ता कराती हैं, उनके शोषण और संघर्ष का यथार्थ दिखाती हैं, तो दूसरी तरफ अमृतसर आ गया जैसी कहानी , तमस जैसा उपन्यास और आलमगीर, मुआवजे जैसे नाटक लिखकर उन्होंने साम्प्रदायिकता की सच्चाईयों को भी बेनकाब किया है.

मान्यता प्राप्त पत्रकारों को मिले केजीएमयू में निशुल्क इलाज

लखनऊ : उत्तर प्रदेश के राज्यपाल रामनाईक ने संजय गाँधी आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान  के तर्ज पर किंगजार्ज मेडिकल यूनिवर्सिटी में भी राज्य मुख्यालय के मान्यता प्राप्त पत्रकारों के लिये निःशुल्क इलाज की ब्यवस्था कराए जाने का आश्वासन दिया है. उन्होंने कहा कि इस सम्बन्ध में किंग जार्ज के कुलपति से विचार-विमर्श करने के बाद शीघ्र ही यह ब्यवस्था लागू कराने का प्रयास करूंगा.

"सन 1982 मे दिल्ली से जनसत्ता शुरू होने के बाद उस के तेवरों ने बेशक पत्रकारिता को नए आयाम दिये ,मगर पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश मे विपिन धूलिया पहले पत्रकार थे जिसने उससे भी आगे बढ़कर मौलिकता के साथ अखबार और खबरों के साथ पत्रकारों के हितों के मोर्चे पर एक साथ काम किया । इस सबसे अलग उन्होने कभी किसी पत्रकार के अनुचित व्यवहार या खबर को प्रश्रय नहीं दिया।बल्कि पत्रकारों की नयी पीढ़ी को तैयार करने में उनकी हमेशा रूचि रही,जो अब IFWJ में भी  दिखाई देगी।"

जागरूकता बढ़ाने में रेडियो कारगर : अध्ययन में प्राप्त 87 प्रतिशत आंकड़े यह दर्षाते हैं कि रेडियो जन-जागरूकता बढ़ाने में महत्वपर्णू भूमिका अदा कर रहा है। 53 प्रतिशत प्रतिभागी मानते हैं कि सरकारें रेडियो का उपयोग अपने पक्ष में जनमत निर्माण के लिए करती आई हैं यह सर्वविदित है कि सत्तासीन सरकारें हमेशा से संचार माध्यमों का उपयोग अपने पक्ष में जनमत निर्माण के लिए करती आईं हैं। राष्ट्रीय एकता को बनाए रखने में रेडियो की भूमिका को नकारा नहीं जा सकता है 74 प्रतिशत प्राप्त आंकड़े यह दर्षाते हैं कि रेडियो राष्ट्रीय एकता को बनाए रखने में आज विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से सशक्त भूमिका निभा रहा है।

डॉ. आंबेडकर : आधुनिक भारत के निर्माता

डॉ. बाबा साहेब भीमराव आंबेडकर एक अछूत परिवार में पैदा हुए थे जो सभी प्रकार के सामाजिक, शैक्षिक, धार्मिक व राजनीतिक अधिकारों से वंचित वर्ग था. इसके बावजूद भी उनकी गिनती दुनिया के सबसे अधिक शिक्षित लोगों में की जाती है. उनके पास अमेरिका, इंग्लैण्ड तथा जर्मनी की उच्च डिग्रियां थीं. इतना शिक्षित होते हुए भी उन्हें समाज में घोर अपमान का सामना करना पड़ा. जब वे महाराजा बड़ोदा के दरबार में सैनिक सलाहकार के उच्च पद पर नियुक्त हुए तो उन्हें इतना अपमानित होना पड़ा कि उन्हें यह नौकरी छोड़नी पड़ी. जाति अपमान से तंग आ कर उन्होंने कभी भी नौकरी न करने का निर्णय लिया तथा इंग्लैण्ड से वकालत पास कर स्वतंत्र रूप से बम्बई में वकालत शुरू कर दी.

यूपी में किसी की भी सरकार आ सकती है, लेकिन भाजपा की नहीं

'अनार्य एकता और सक्रियता' के मकसद से मैं 22 नवम्बर, 15 से 27 नवम्बर तक लखनऊ, वाराणसी, आगरा, झांसी और ग्वालियर के दौरे पर गया। इस बीच अनेक मित्रों और आम जनता से रूबरू हुआ। जानकार और अनजान लोगों के विचार जाने।

इसी क्रम में भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के लोकसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र वाराणसी से शुरू करते हैं, जिसे मोदी और उनके भक्त मोक्षदायनी काशी कहना पसन्द करते हैं। वहां के रेलवे स्टेशन, जिसे वहां स्थानीय स्तर पर कैंट रेलवे स्टेशन भी बोला जाता है, के पास स्थित भीड़भाड़ वाली एक चाय की दुकान पर, चाय वाले को सम्बोधित मेरा सीधा सवाल—

''इस बार यूपी में किसकी सरकार आने की सम्भावना है?''
चायवाला—''किसी की भी आ सकती है, लेकिन भाजपा नहीं।''

क्या मायावती संघ के एजेंडे को आगे बढा रही हैं?

राज्यसभा में 30 अगस्त, 2015 को मायावती ने सवर्ण गरीबों को आर्थिक आधार पर आरक्षण प्रदान करने की मांग करके, अवसरवादी राजनीति के घृणित चेहरे को आगे बढाया है। गरीब सवर्णों को आरक्षण की मांग करके मायावती वोट की राजनीति तो कर सकती हैं, लेकिन अनार्यों के संवैधानिक हकों की रक्षा करने का दावा नहीं कर सकती। अब मायावती को दलित, आदिवासी, पिछड़ों और अल्पसंख्यकों के हितों की माला जपने का कोई नैतिक अधिकार शेष नहीं रह गया है। हजारों सालों से आर्यों के शोषण, विभेद, अन्याय, अत्याचार और मनमानी के शिकार वंचित—अनार्यों को सत्ता और प्रशासन में आनुपातिक प्रतिनिधित्व प्रदान करने के मकसद से संविधान निर्माताओं में ने सामाजिक न्याय की व्यवस्था की हुई है। जिसका मायावती मजाक उड़ा रही हैं। मायावती का बयान इस बात का जीता जागता प्रमाण है कि मायावती को संविधान और सामाजिक न्याय का प्राथमिक स्तर तक का ज्ञान नहीं है। उन्हें कांशीराम की शिष्या और उत्तराधिकारी कहलाने का कोई नैतिक हक नहीं है! कहीं ऐसा तो नहीं कि आगे चलकर मायावती भी भाजपा की नाव पर सवार होने की तैयारी कर रही हैं?

पत्रकार अरुण कुमार ने किशोरवय में ही 'पढ़ाई-लड़ाई साथ-साथ' के सूत्र को जीवन का राग मान लिया (देखिए स्मृति सभा की तस्वीरें)

टाइम्स ऑफ़ इण्डिया पटना के सेवानिवृत वरिष्ठ पत्रकार, प्रेस कोंसिल ऑफ़ इण्डिया के पूर्व सदस्य, बिहार श्रमजीवी पत्रकार यूनियन के महासचिव और टाइम्स एम्प्लॉइज यूनियन पटना के अध्यक्ष दिवंगत अरुण कुमार की स्मृति में रविवार  29 नवम्बर  2015 को पटना के गांधी संग्रहालय में टाइम्स इम्प्लोइज यूनियन की ओर से एक स्मृति सभा का आयोजन किया गया। इस सभा की अध्यक्षता जानेमाने साहित्यकार खगेन्द्र ठाकुर ने की। स्मृति सभा का संचालन करते हुए नंदीग्राम डायरी के लेखक-पत्रकार पुष्पराज ने अरुण कुमार की जिंदगी से जुडी अतीत की परतों को सार्वजनिक किया।

पुष्पराज ने बताया कि अरुण कुमार के पिता स्कूल सुपरिटेंडेंट के साथ-साथ कम्युनिष्ट पार्टी के आजीवन सदस्य रहे। उनके पिता कॉमरेड रामचन्द्र सिंह अपने वेतन का एक बड़ा हिस्सा हर माह लेबी के रूप में पार्टी को देते थे। वे दिन में सरकार की नौकरी करते थे और रात में पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं के बीच कम्युनिज्म पढ़ाते थे। अरुण कुमार के ससुर कॉमरेड रामप्रताप सिंह पार्टी को लेबी देने वाले प्रतिष्ठित कम्युनिष्ट आइडिओलॉग थे। अरुण कुमार ने किशोरवय में ही पढ़ाई-लड़ाई साथ-साथ के सूत्र को जीवन का राग मान लिया। सरकारी सेवा के साथ कम्युनिष्ट होने  की सजा में पिता को लगातार तबादले की सजा भुगतनी पड़ी। अरुण कुमार को पिता के तबादले की वजह से हर दो साल पर स्कूल  बदलना पड़ा।

भारतीय प्रेस परिषद की उपसमिति ने किया उत्तराखंड का दौरा, कई मुद्दों पर की बात

देहरादून। प्रेस काउंसिल आफ इंडिया की उप समिति ने बीजापुर अतिथि गृह के सभागार में सचिव सूचना विनोद शर्मा के साथ बैठक की। समिति में प्रेस काउंसिल आफ इंडिया के सदस्यों में संयोजक गुरिन्दर सिंह सदस्य पीके दास ने बताया कि उनके द्वारा देहरादून में विभिन्न पत्रकार संगठनों एवं पत्रकारों के साथ बैठक की गई। पत्रकार संगठनों से राज्य सरकार द्वारा पत्रकारों के हितों लिये गये निर्णयों की जानकारी ली गई। साथ ही पत्रकारों की समस्याओं का भी संज्ञान लिया गया।

मार्क जुकरबर्ग को कौन नहीं जानता? लेकिन अब जुकरबर्ग को दुनिया के सबसे बड़े दानियों में से जाना जाएगा। यों तो जुकरबर्ग पहले भी करोड़ों डालर दान कर चुके हैं और जुकरबर्ग से पहले भी अरबों डालर दान करने वाले लोग हुए हैं लेकिन जुकरबर्ग ने अपनी बेटी के जन्म के अवसर पर दान की जो घोषणा की है, उसने उन्हें दुनिया का अद्वितीय दानी बना दिया है। बिल गेट्स, वारेन बफे और जार्ज सोरेस जैसे लोगों ने भी बड़े-बड़े दान देकर अन्तरराष्ट्रीय ख्याति अर्जित की है लेकिन इनमें से जुकरबर्ग ही ऐसा पहला दानी है, जिसकी उम्र सिर्फ 31 साल है। 30-31 साल की उम्र क्या होती है? इसे खेलने-खाने की उम्र कहा जाता है। यदि इस उम्र में कोई आदमी अरबपति बन जाए तो उसके क्या कहने? वह जो भी नखरे पाले, वे कम होते हैं लेकिन जुकरबर्ग ने अपनी ‘फेसबुक’ की संपत्ति का 99 प्रतिशत दान कर दिया है। लगभग तीन लाख करोड़ रु. की इस राशि से दुनिया के गरीब बच्चों के कल्याण की कई योजनाएं बनेंगी।

सेल्फी पत्रकारिता के मायने

यह पत्रकारिता की नई रीत नहीं है और ना ही यह सेल्फी पत्रकारिता है। यह सौफीसदी मीडिया है और इसे सेल्फी मीडिया ही कहा जाना बेहतर होगा। पत्रकारिता अपने जन्म से लेकर आज तक सत्ता के संग-साथ चलने को न कभी आतुर हुई और न ही कभी विवश। वह तो सत्ता को गरियाने और जगाने का काम करती रही है और करती रहेगी। सच तो यह है कि जिसे हम सेल्फी पत्रकारिता का नाम दे रहे हैं, वहां पत्रकारिता है कहां पर? क्या प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के साथ सेल्फी लेने वाले मीडिया साथियों ने इस पर कोई खबर लिखी या इस सेल्फी पत्रकारिता के पीछे कोई कथा सामने आयी जिससे समाज का भला होता? जवाब ना में होगा क्योंकि यह न तो सेल्फी पत्रकारिता है और न पत्रकारिता बल्कि यह एक किस्म का व्यक्तिगत आनंद का समय होता है जब ज्यादतर युवा पत्रकार प्रधानमंत्री के साथ अपनी यादें संजोकर रखना चाहते हैं। इसमें कोई बुराई भी नहीं है। जीवन के सुखद क्षणों को संजोकर रखना कतई गलत नहीं है लेकिन इसे पत्रकारिता या मीडिया का नाम दिया जाना उचित नहीं है।

"I will begin by saying that in the past few days, we have been hearing and sharing pictures of the lynching of two Dalit children in Faridabad- Vaivab and Divya. And it is something that is very shocking and at the same time very graphic. But I will start by telling you that the killing of children is a caste Hindu speciality. From our memories of Gujarat genocide in 2002, we cannot forget the bodies of children which were lined up, arranged next to each other. And there is a long history of the killing of small children. If we look at the massacre in Kilvenmani that happened on Christmas day, 1968; 23 children were killed. All of them were burnt to death. In fact it was not just that the children were locked up in a hut and burnt to death but there is one episode which anybody in Kilvenmani tells you again and again. And it is the episode of how one of the mothers of a child in a last desperate attempt to save the child threw the child outside, hoping that somebody will save the baby, somebody in the mob would have the humanity to save this child. But they basically chopped the baby into pieces and put the baby back in the hut and set the hut on fire. So this is the caste Hindu humanity that we have in this country.

New Delhi, : Begum Parween Sultana’s melodious voice spellbound the audience while Pt. Bhajan Sopori mesmerized the listeners with his genius play of Santoor as one of the biggest classical music festivals in the country opened with a bang in the national capital today. The Festival of Classical Indian Music has been organized by the Department of Art, Culture & Languages, Govt. of Delhi and Sahitya Kala Parishad and will continue from 2nd to 5th November at the Kamani Auditorium. It was inaugurated by Shri Manish Sisodia, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Delhi. The Chief Guest at the festival was Shri Kapil Mishra – Hon’ble Minister of Water Law & Justice Tourism Art Culture & Languages.

The festival will see participation of some of the legends of Indian classical music including Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pt. Jasraj, and Ustad Amjad Ali Khan among others. On the opening day of the festival, the euphonious voice of Begum Parween Sultana had a hypnotizing effect on the audience. The Hindustani Classical singer of the Patiala Gharana vowed the audience with her rendition of the ragas. At the same time, Pt Bhajan Sopori’s rendition on Santoor mesmerized the listeners.

Parween Sultana is renowned for her majestic voice and was awarded the Padmashree for the same in 1976. She was also honored by the Sangeet Natak Academy Award in the year 1999 and by the prestigious Padma Bhushan Award in 2014. Through the years, she has also lent her vocals to several Bollywood film songs including in movies like Do Boond Pani, Pakeezah, Gadar, Kudrat,  among others.


Pandit Bhajan Sopori, on the other hand, has done unparalleled work in taking the beautiful music of Santoor to different corners of the world. The maestro has taught music at Washington University and was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi award in 1993 and the Padma Shri in 2004.


“The origins of Indian classical music can be found in the Vedas, the oldest scriptures in the Hindu tradition dating back to 1500 BCE. However, over the centuries, our music has incorporated inputs from multiple sources and has enriched itself with confluence of different traditions that met in the Indian subcontinent. Our instruments have held their own even in times of digital and techno driven musical instruments. Indian classical music is a true representative of our rich identity,” says Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia.


“In recent years there has been an animated debate on whether our classical music is losing out to the modern pop culture. However, when I see young music enthusiasts eager to learn our classical traditions and keen to master their hands in it, I feel confident of a bright future for our indigenous music. We need more such festivals to encourage young talent on the scene,” says Ustad Amjad Ali Khan.


The second evening of the festival will host performances from Pt. Rajan-Sajan Mishra duo and Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia. Pandit Rajan and Sajan Mishra are accomplished singers of the ‘khyal’ style of Indian classical music while Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia needs no introduction as one of India’s most renowned flutist.


The third evening will begin with a Sitar & Sarod (Duet) recital by Lakshay Mohan & Ayush Mohan Gupta; this will be followed by Sitar recital by Ustad Saeed Zafar Khan; and vocal recital by renowned classical music vocalist Pt. Jasraj. The festival will end on November 5 with a vocal recital by Ashwini Bhide Deshpande and sarod recital by Ustad Amjad Ali Khan.

Although the Governing Bodies (Senate & Syndicate) had approved these
financial irregularities, but thanks to the cognizance taken by the
Audit Department of Chandigarh Administration and subsequent denial of
UGC to allow any dilution in its norms that the illegal action of
Panjab University stood unapproved and the University has been
directed to implement “Capping” and review all promotions with
recovery of money that has been illegally released to the ineligible
promotees.

However, since the Vice-Chancellor Prof Arun Kumar Grover and all

irregularities have managed to go scot free without facing action for
their acts of commission and omission, this has encouraged the higher
authorities of the University to acquire immunity from facing action

श्री माधवजी आश्रम में अग्निहोत्र और अखण्ड मृत्युंजय यज्ञ का आयोजन

भोपाल, 01 अक्टूबर। वैदिक यज्ञ की विधि अग्निहोत्र पूरी दुनिया में शांति और सद्भाव फैलाने का काम करेगा। हमारी वैदिक परम्पराओं के कारण ही भारत में अनेक धर्म के लोग भी एकजुट होकर रहते हैं। डीआरडीओ के पूर्व वैज्ञानिक डॉ. डब्ल्यू सेल्वामूर्ति ने यह विचार श्रीमाधव आश्रम में महानुभाव माधवजी पोतदार की जन्मशती के अवसर पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम में व्यक्त किए। इस अवसर पर आश्रम से जुड़े करीब 1000 साधकों ने एकसाथ, एक समय में अग्निहोत्र यज्ञ किया। सूर्यास्त के समय सैकड़ों हवन कुण्डों में प्रज्वलित अग्नि की छंटा देखते ही बन रही थी। इससे पूर्व दोपहर में हजारों की संख्या में साधकों ने अखण्ड मृत्युंजय यज्ञ किया। मृत्युंजय यज्ञ 11 अक्टूबर तक प्रतिदिन किया जाएगा।
